It's share time! By now you've gone through lesson 2 of module 3, which talks about creating a personal motivation space. We've discussed the mental state we need to be in, but we also need to acknowledge the physical - the environment that we create - to get sh!t done! You saw pictures of my space in the video - all of my resources (books, writing utensils, computer, microphone, printer, notebooks, etc), great lighting and comfortable seating, and pictures, quotes and artwork to keep my eyes on the prize. But enough about me! I want to know: given the tips you received in lesson 2, how has your motivation space transformed? Post your pictures below! I can't wait to see them!

Your life is only as good as the processes that you've put in place to manage all the things on your plate. Life hacking is the way to optimize and leverage what you're working with. By now, you've made it through lesson 1 of module 3 and you should have a clear game plan on how you can hack your motivation to get sh!t done! Here's my hack: I know I work best late at night. My sweet spot for getting work done is from 9pm to 2am. I wake up a little bit later in the morning (between 9am and 10am) to take care of homeschool, household chores, errands, appointments, and meetings. I find that portioning up my time into 30 minute blocks with a little reward every 3-4 hours to keep me going on the days that are project heavy. High energy music, singing, and dancing all get me in a mood to knock it out of the park. But that's just me! So let me know below - what are your key takeaways from this lesson and how have you learned to hack your motivation?

Not enough weight is given to the power of our words, when we speak to ourselves. That internal voice we hear, when we're mulling over a new idea or challenge, when we're watching a TV show/movie, when we're responding to an email before we actually respond in writing. The power of our words counts for so much. I'm sure you can remember a moment where someone you loved and valued in your life might have said something to you that made you feel invincible or made you feel like you'd hit rock bottom. And so it is with our self-talk. How we speak to ourselves accounts for our mindset, for the goals we set ourselves, and whether we even believe we can actually achieve them. I can confidently say that I was in the fixed mindset camp for most of my life. It wasn't until 2017 when I really started moving toward the growth mindset end of the spectrum. And even then, it was a still a struggle. For so long, I told myself that I wasn't enough. Not explicitly, with those words. But I was always searching. Searching for something that would make me feel whole, less lonely, happier with who I was and where I was in my life. Seeking validation from others before I felt comfortable enough to offer my own ideas or opinions to the group. It took a long time to realize that I was already enough. It was only the words that convinced me otherwise. And once I realized that I was enough, I began to move differently. Feel differently. I took risks. I challenged myself. I patted myself on the back. I started two businesses. I created programs and workbooks and frameworks and helped others in achieving their goals. My mindset changed and soon enough, so did my life. So in what ways are you stifling your growth? What is one limiting belief that you find yourself saying very often - either through words or actions? And now that you've identified that belief, what will you be replacing it with? Share your reflections below and let us know where your growth will start. All the best, Yvonne

For lesson 2 of module 1, I asked you all to meditate on the words, "I am." Given our results from the personality assessment, feedback we've received from family and friends over the course of our lives, and what we believe ourselves to be (in addition to what we're working toward), we already have a healthy idea of our best qualities and key identities. I'd love to hear back from you all about what you've managed to create for your "I am..." mind map. Remember, this is by no means a finished product. It is a stepping stone to realizing and verbalizing more of your positive qualities and creating a reminder when your confidence has a dip, or when you feel you've somehow fallen short. I've shared my personal mind map here as well and am excited to see what you've created, either with the templates or of your own design!

Hi again! 👋👋👋👋 If you're here, that means you've completed lesson 1 of Module 1. Sometimes, we may want to make changes to our lives without making changes to ourselves. Self-awareness is KEY to making substantial, intentional, transformational changes in your life, and neglecting that is a big mistake. So what were your personality test results? How do you feel the characteristics and qualities fit with who you feel you are? Share in the comments below and let us know!
